What we seal in the kitchen
We finish the joints along your worktop, backsplash and sink neatly. The sealant and colour need to suit the materials, not just look good.
Your kitchen is the heart of your home. A place where you live, cook and laugh. But water around the sink and grease splashes behind the stove can damage your worktop.
From sink to plinth: we assess the visible joints and use sealant suited to each application.
Around the sink
A neat joint around the sink helps keep water from entering open gaps or getting under the visible edge.
Worktop & backsplash
A clean seam between your worktop and wall. Easy to clean and no gap where crumbs disappear.
Behind the stove
Around a stove or cooktop, we follow the installation instructions and check the distance from heat. We only seal joints where the application and temperature allow it.
Kitchen plinths
We first check whether the kitchen plinth can be sealed. Ventilation, access to appliances and the floor's movement space must be preserved.
Replace old sealant
We remove old or loose sealant carefully, use a suitable cleaner on the bonding surfaces and prepare them for the new sealant.
Colour matching for your job
We choose a colour to suit the worktop, backsplash and grout. An exact, invisible match is not always possible.
Photos first, then a fixed project price
Send an overview of the worktop and close-ups of the sink, backsplash, corners and existing sealant. We assess the situation and confirm the project price before starting.

Why material choice matters in the kitchen
Kitchen joints face moisture, grease, cleaning and sometimes heat. We choose premium sealant to suit each joint and surface.
Easy to clean
We use sealant suited to the kitchen application and normal household maintenance. The cleaner also needs to suit the sealant and worktop.
Suitable for natural stone
For granite, marble or hardstone, we choose sealant suited to that stone. Cleaners, primers and finishing agents must also be compatible to help prevent stains along the edge.
Suited to the application
We assess moisture, surfaces and distance from heat before choosing the sealant.
Color matching
We match the sealant color to your worktop or backsplash so the joint is nearly invisible.
Protect your worktop
An open or leaking joint can let water reach a moisture-sensitive worktop, leading to swelling or damage. Have the joint checked if you notice these signs:
- The sealant is pulling away or cracking.
- Black marks that remain after suitable mild cleaning. They do not automatically mean the joint leaks.
- A persistently greasy or sticky surface. We check the cause and condition of the joint.
How it works
- Send a photo of your worktop and the joints to be sealed.
- Check your price: view our prices & packages or WhatsApp us. You’ll quickly get a fixed price.
- Appointment: we work neatly and explain when the new sealant can handle water, heat and cleaning. Leave the joint alone until then.
- Finished: neat sealant work with a 2-year warranty on workmanship and adhesion.
