Window and frame sealing for a neat finish
Inside and outside • Materials suited to the job • 2-year warranty
What do we handle?
Send overview and close-up photos of the windows, frames and access. We assess what is visible and give you a price indication.
Cracked, loose or open joints around windows and frames can let drafts or moisture through. We assess the cause and choose materials to suit the location, surface and movement.
Replace glazing sealant
We replace old or damaged sealant along the glass with suitable glazing sealant. It must be compatible with the glass, edge seal and frame. We follow the glazing system's instructions.
Frame joint outside
We carefully finish the joint between frame and facade to keep rainwater from entering through that joint. Required ventilation and drainage openings stay clear.
Frame joint inside
A neat joint between frame and wall or plaster. If an open joint is causing a draft, sealing it can help.
Remove old residue
We remove old sealant and residue carefully without unnecessarily damaging the surface. Putty cannot simply be swapped for sealant: we first assess the glass, rebate and frame condition.
A price indication from your photos
Every situation is different. Send overview and detail photos of the windows, frames and access; we give a price indication based on what is visible.
- Windows & Frames ComfortPrice after photo check / indication
An indication based on your photos. We agree on the work and price before starting.
Sealant suited to your job
For your sealing job, we select materials suited to the joints, surfaces and expected movement.
Photo check
Overview and close-up photos help us assess the joint and access and give a price indication. We ask for more information if needed.
More comfort
If a draft comes through an open joint, carefully sealing it can improve comfort.
Materials suited to the weather
Outside, we choose professional sealant suited to the surfaces, movement and weather exposure.
2-year warranty
A warranty on the workmanship and adhesion of the sealant we apply.
Why inside and outside joints need a different approach
A frame requires a specific approach. We use the right material for each side:
Inside (finish & visibility)
Inside, we choose paintable sealant where suitable between frame and wall. Sealant, paint and joint must be compatible. Paint may still crack if it cannot follow the movement.
Outside (protection & flexibility)
Glazing sealant along glass and connection sealant between frame and facade do different jobs. We choose for the glazing and frame system, surfaces, movement and weather exposure.
Recognize the signals
Not sure if it’s needed? Check your frames for:
- Drafts: you feel cold air along the frame.
- Cracks: the sealant line is broken or pulling away from the glass.
- Moisture: damp spots or condensation inside. These can have causes other than the sealant joint.
- Green growth: a reason to check cleaning and moisture exposure. Growth alone does not prove the joint leaks.
How it works
- Photo & situation: send photos of the windows or facade and the accessibility.
- Price indication: we assess your photos and let you know the indication. We agree on the work and price before starting.
- The job: we work neatly inside and arrange safe access outside.
- Result: a carefully finished connection that suits the situation technically.
