What we seal in the interior
We create the perfect connection. With the right sealant (paintable where needed, elastic where it must be) we turn separate parts into one clean interior. The difference between "neat" and "wow" is in the sealant line.
Your new floor is in, the walls are plastered. But still... it doesn't feel "finished". Gaps along the skirting, a seam by the ceiling or an open edge at the door frame take away from the result.
Skirting & floors
We neatly finish the joint between skirting and wall. At floor level, we check the flooring system first: required movement space must not be locked in place. We only seal where the floor manufacturer allows it, using the specified joint construction.
Ceilings & walls
Paintable joints in internal corners and between walls and ceilings. We match the sealant and joint to the expected movement. Paint may not move enough with the sealant and can still crack.
Frames & stairs
Joints around door frames, stairs and adjoining walls. Sealant finishes visible gaps and may reduce drafts through an open joint. Structural creaking needs a different solution.
Color matched
We choose from different colours and finishes to suit the floor, skirting and surroundings as closely as possible.

You might think: "I'll do that myself". But clean sealing along a ceiling or floor is precision work.
A steady hand: A wobbly sealant line at eye level (ceiling) will irritate you for years. We pull lines straight as a ruler.
The right sealant: a moving floor joint needs different properties from a paintable joint. Joint width, depth and loads also need to suit the application.
Efficient work: we assess the size, access and order of the job beforehand so it fits around flooring, plastering and painting.

Flooring, painting or sealing first? We agree on the order to suit the joint and materials:
Skirting tops, walls & ceilings: paintable sealant
We usually seal paintable joints before the final coat of paint. Allow the sealant to dry as instructed. The paint and sealant must be compatible; test a small area if unsure.
Floor joints: suited to the flooring system
We usually apply coloured sealant after flooring and painting are finished. Required movement space must be maintained. We only use a sealing system permitted by the floor manufacturer, with backing material where specified.
